# Eligibility

### **How do I know if I am eligible for PLAR?**

A candidate may apply for PLAR where learning outcomes of a course can clearly be met through the assessment of a portfolio and/or through a challenge process. Not all courses and programs are eligible for PLAR consideration \(e.g., courses or programs with specific industry requirements\).

A candidate may not apply for PLAR where they have already met or exceeded the number of courses eligible to be earned towards prior learning credit.
