# Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) Advising

Seneca offers comprehensive support for students interested in the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition \(PLAR\) process. Our dedicated PLAR System Officers are here to help you every step of the way.

**What is PLAR?**
PLAR is a process that allows students to receive academic credit for learning and experience gained outside traditional educational settings. This can include work experience, volunteer activities, and other informal learning experiences.

**How Can A PLAR System Officer Help You?**

**Guidance on Eligibility:** We'll help you understand if your experiences qualify for PLAR.

**Application Assistance:** We'll be by your side to help you complete and submit your PLAR application.

**Documentation Support:** Learn how to properly document and present your prior learning for assessment with our help.
