# Fee Payments & How to Pay

**Important:** Payments made at a Canadian financial institution can take up to five business days to be processed. Online payments can take up to 24 business hours to be processed. Payment can be confirmed in [Student Home](https://studenterp.senecacollege.ca/psp/ps/?cmd=start).

### **Late Penalty Fee**

Fees are due by the first day of classes in the term. Seneca reserves the right to withhold services if fees are not paid by the due date.

A late fee \(penalty\) of $150 will be applied after the last day to drop courses without receiving a grade and with a refund. **** A second late fee \(penalty\) of $150 will be applied if the outstanding balance is still not cleared in the same term.
