# How to apply for a diploma-to-degree pathway

### Current Seneca Students

**Full-time students**

If you are a current Seneca diploma student and wish to transfer to a full-time Seneca degree program, you can do so through [Student Home](https://studenterp.senecacollege.ca/psp/ps/?cmd=start&_gl=1*5waqx7*_gcl_au*NjQ3OTE4NTgxLjE3NjMwNjE0Nzk.*_ga*NjkwODM5NzAxLjE3NTY0NzY5NTI.*_ga_NKW0CZJEK5*czE3NjQ2MDA3MzIkbzEwNSRnMSR0MTc2NDYwNzQ2MiRqNDMkbDAkaDIwNjY4NjgyMzY.).

To submit your request:

1. Log in to [Student Home](https://studenterp.senecacollege.ca/psp/ps/?cmd=start)
2. Select the Applicant Center tile
3. Select Program Change Request
4. Select **Diploma to Degree** from the drop-down menu, then click **Add Program**
5. Select the term, program and campus, then click **Done**
6. Click **Submit** to complete the diploma-to-degree request

Your request status will be updated to **Pending Approval**.

Once approved, the status will be updated to **Approved**. All approved requests are reviewed by Admissions to confirm your eligibility before an offer of admission is issued.

**Part-time students**

Please note that only the following degree programs have courses that can be taken on a part-time basis.

- Bachelor of Business Administration \(BBA\)
- Honours Bachelor of Child Development \(BCD\)
- Honours Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting & Finance \(BACF\)
- Honours Bachelor of Interdisciplinary \(INS\)

### Seneca Graduates

If you have graduated from a Seneca diploma program, you may apply to a Seneca degree program pathway through **Student Home** by following the steps listed above.

If you no longer have access to your Student Home:

1. Download the [Diploma to Seneca Degree – Pathways Transfer form \(PDF\)](https://students.senecapolytechnic.ca/spaces/134/forms/files/4204/diploma-to-seneca-degree-pathways-transfer-form)
2. Complete the form electronically using the fields provided
3. Email your completed form to [theservicehub@senecapolytechnic.ca](mailto:theservicehub@senecacollege.ca) using a valid Seneca email account

If you graduated from another college, or if you wish to start in **Semester 1** of a degree program, apply through [ontariocolleges.ca](http://ontariocolleges.ca/). This ensures both your application and official transcripts are submitted.

### Graduates from Other Institutions

If you completed your diploma at another institution and wish to apply to a Seneca degree program, you must apply through the appropriate application portal.

**Domestic applicants**

- You must submit official transcripts confirming diploma completion and your final program GPA.

**International applicants**

- After applying, contact your Admissions Adviser through the [Service Hub](mailto:theservicehub@senecapolytechnic.ca) to confirm pathway eligibility.  You will be required to provide your Seneca application number.
- Official transcripts confirming diploma completion and your final program GPA are required.

**Important:** Admission to a degree pathway is **conditional**. You must complete all required diploma courses and meet the minimum GPA. Submitting an application does **not** guarantee admission to a degree program.
