# Students receive $500 bursaries thanks to Seneca alumni

A $500 bursary is equivalent to **32** hours of work for a student earning minimum wage. Since 2016, **16,480** hours of free time have been gifted to deserving Seneca students – thanks to the Pay It Forward Challenge.
