You’re sharing a cake with 5 other friends equally. Can you guess what fraction of the cake two slices are? You will likely come across various examples of fractions in your day-to-day life. Understanding fractions and being able to work with these numbers will also help you in more complex areas such as algebra and calculus.

Students will review key concepts such as fractions, different types of fractions, and basic arithmetic of fractions such as addition, multiplication, and division. There will be opportunities to practice questions and ask questions during the workshop.
