    Welcome to Accessible Learning Services!

During the registration process, you’ll have the opportunity to select how you'd like to access our services. Whether you have existing documentation or need assistance in gathering the necessary paperwork, ALS will guide you through every step of the process to ensure you have the appropriate support to thrive at Seneca.

Choose the access pathway that best suits your needs, and rest assured that we will provide the resources and accommodations that allow you to excel in your studies:

    1. ALS: First Appointment
      • for students who have updated/current documentation and prefers direct interaction with the counsellor. This appointment type allows students to ask questions and share your experiences and learn firsthand about the available supports and services.
    2. ALS: Consultation Appointment
      • for students who suspect they have a disability but lack documentation and may be struggling academically. This is also a great pathway for students who are unsure about the available supports and would like to gather information on how to obtain an assessment.

    3. ALS: Digital Review Appointment
      •  for students who prefer to not to meet directly with a counsellor and would like to receive an email with your accommodation plan and information on accessing supports and services. This type of appointment is only applicable for students have appropriate documentation regarding disability related needs.

All three pathways offer the same supportive time lines and access to academic accommodations. Appointments with Accessibility Counsellors are 50 minutes in length are are offered virtually or in-person.
