Discovering Balance and Compassion Amongst the Busyness Pt.1

This workshop will provide peer facilitators and student attendees an opportunity to understand, acknowledge, and recognize the reality of being a post-secondary student and the busyness, stress, and overwhelm that comes with it. Through discussion, collaboration, activities, and shared insight, students will learn the importance of finding balance and compassion during these times and helpful strategies to support their well-being as a student and human.  

  • Students will learn to acknowledge the busyness, stress, and overwhelm of post-secondary education. 

  • Students will learn the realities of work-life balance and why it can be so difficult to achieve. 

  • Students will learn the importance of finding balance and compassion amongst the busyness. 

  • Students will learn a variety of techniques to support themselves during busy, stressful, and overwhelming times.
