This week, two Seneca Polytechnic students from the School of Information Technology Administration and Security participated in the Ontario Capstone Competition 2025, an annual competition established by Technology Professionals Canada. The provincial organization OACETT hosted the competition virtually, where student teams from colleges across the province were invited to submit their capstone design projects for review, including full technical reports and presentation videos. Congratulations to our Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology students, Adam Beik and Sam Davis, who won 1st place with their project prototype, "The ScreenSpeeder: Wireless Web Controller for the Visually Impaired." Adam and Sam are invited to compete at the National NEAT Week Competition, being held November 25.
