You would need to meet in the academic area (i.e., Program Coordinator) and discuss if PLAR is appropriate based on your initial information about their relevant work/life experiences.
You would need to fill out the attached form, sign it and then submit it to the Office of the Registrar to process the PLAR assessment request.
The Office of the Registrar will charge the PLAR assessment fee of $107 for each course, portfolio assessment or challenge evaluation assessed through prior learning assessment.
After the PLAR fee is paid, the academic area can conduct a full evaluation/assessment. If the PLAR is granted, the academic area will need to complete a PLA Grade Report and submit it to the Office of the Registrar.
The Office of the Registrar will update your record to reflect the approved PLAs.
