Scholarship for ELI Students | English Language Institute | Seneca Students

We hope you’re enjoying the ELI program at Seneca. We’re happy to let you know about two scholarship opportunity that is available for eligible students in this program.

Heather Sako Memorial Bursary (100500): Awarded to one full-time student enrolled in the English Language Institute. Eligible applicants must be in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need.

UWCNY-Judith Ransom Memorial Award (200276): Awarded to a student in the English Language Institute who is in good academic standing and who intends to continue at Seneca in a full-time program. The student demonstrates community involvement at Seneca or beyond. This award honours Judith Ransom, former President of the University Women’s Club North York and Seneca instructor.

How to Apply

To apply, please apply here with your Seneca email address. Please note that you must ensure that you provide your SIN/ITN for T4A tax purposes. Instructions on how to input your SIN into Student Home can be found here. The deadline to apply is to be updated. 

In addition, we recommend that you set up Interac e-transfer in the “Financial Account” section of Student Home in case there are excess funds in your account. Please note that you will be required to have a Canadian bank account if you wish to take advantage of this option.
