52 Weeks ReconciliACTION Exercise
On Sept. 30, 2026, Seneca Polytechnic proudly opened the new Path to Reconciliation at King Campus.
As people who live, work and learn on Turtle Island, we all benefit from this land and share a responsibility to understand our role in advancing reconciliation. While the Path to Reconciliation offers a place for reflection around Lake Seneca at King Campus, reconciliation extends far beyond a physical path. It is found in the conversations we have, the perspectives we challenge, the knowledge we seek and the actions we take every day.
To demonstrate our commitment to walking the Path of Reconciliation every day, we invite the Seneca community to join the 52-Week ReconciliACTION exercise, a year-long opportunity to deepen understanding of reconciliation and explore meaningful ways to support Indigenous Peoples and communities.
The 52-Week ReconciliACTION Exercise encourages members of the Seneca community to register and commit to one act of reconciliation each week. Participants will have access to an online discussion space hosted by First Peoples@Seneca, where they can share reflections, resources and experiences with others taking part in the exercise.
This exercise is inspired by David A. Robertson’s book, 52 Ways to Reconcile: How to Walk with Indigenous Peoples on the Path to Healing. Faculty can follow the actions listed below or create their own.
Join us and commit to 52 weeks of ReconciliACTION.
