The IT Security and Compliance Office is offering a Foundational Online Security Awareness digital badge that both students and employees can earn by demonstrating their ability to identify suspicious emails and security knowledge.
This digital badge serves as a valuable recognition of their commitment to maintaining a secure digital environment. Access the training module by authenticating with your Seneca credentials (your Seneca username without @myseneca.ca or @senecapolytechnic.ca and password).
Users who previously completed the badge complete the training again to update to the 2024 badge. To earn the Foundational Online Security Awareness digital badge, you must achieve a perfect score in the module.
During the month of October, the IT Security and Compliance Office creates a variety of phishing simulations which are sent to your Seneca email address. Think you’ve spotted one? Hit the "Report Phish" button (Hint: look for the red fish!) and you will be entered to win that week’s prize.
During CSAM, Seneca Polytechnic offers a variety of prizes that can be won by completing any or all of the monthly activities. The best part? The more activities you complete, the more chances you have to win!
Here is a list of the prizes you can win: ·
*Prizes won must be picked up at Newnham Campus
