Trend Micro Internet Security | Software | Seneca Students

Trend Micro has provided Seneca employees and students free activation codes for its Internet Security anti-malware software.

Note:

• This program is for employee and student home use
• Software may only be installed on one Windows device

Important Information

• Use the same Seneca email address to which the Activation Code was issued.
• The six-digit confirmation code is different from the 20-digit Activation Code.
• The confirmation code expires after one hour.
• Do not share either code with anyone.

 Step 1  Request for a License

Submit a request by completing the Trend Micro Internet Security Request Form. You will receive an email when your license is ready. Once you receive it, open the email to access your Activation Code, then proceed with the steps below. 

* Note: The activation code will be sent directly to verified students and employees Seneca email accounts.

 Step 2  Click on Product Activation

In the Activation Code email you received from Seneca Polytechnic, click Product Activation. This opens the TrendLife Product Activation website.

 Step 3  Get Started

On the Welcome to Product Activation page, click Get Started. The activation process consists of signing in to or creating a TrendLife account, then entering the Activation Code.

 Step 4  Sign In or Create an Account

Enter your Seneca email address and click Continue. Returning users can sign in to their existing TrendLife account.

 Step 5  Verify Your Email Address

If you are creating a new account or already have an account, TrendLife will send a six-digit Confirmation Code to your Seneca email address (See step 5, enter the confirmation).

 Step 6  Find the Confirmation Code

Open the confirmation email from TrendLife and locate the six-digit code. The code expires after one hour.

 Step 7  Complete Your Profile

Enter your first name and last name. Receiving TrendLife news and offers is optional. Click Next.

 Step 8  Enter Your Activation Code

Copy the 20-digit Activation Code from the Seneca Activation Code email, paste it into the Activation Code field, accept the License Agreement, and click Next.

 Step 9  Install Protection on this Computer
