In order to protect patients, visitors and Seneca staff during cold and flu season, we need your help to reduce the spread of the infections. 

Everyone coming into the Medical Centre will have to wear a face mask. 

Please don't come in to the Medical Centre if you have any cold, flu or respiratory symptoms; but call us at 437.312.0370 to make an appointment.

If you are feeling unwell and can't attend your appointment, please call us and let us know and we will assist you to reschedule your appointment.

The Seneca Medical Centre is located at Newnham Campus in A3000. It was established to provide a wide range of health services to current Seneca students living away from home.

The Centre's health care team includes registered nurses and medical doctors.

While the Medical Centre is not a walk-in clinic, last minute appointment requests are accommodated as time permits.  Please call or email to get current appointment availability.

Our team at the Seneca Medical Centre is available to assist you virtually Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with:

Booking an appointment

To book your appointment, please contact the Seneca Medical Centre clinic either by email at seneca.health@senecapolytechnic.ca or by phone at 437.312.0370, and provide your name, contact number and Seneca ID.

Rescheduling or cancelling an appointment

To reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify the Seneca Medical Centre at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise you will be charged a $50 no-show fee.

Walk-in/same day appointment

Please call the Seneca Medical Centre prior to visiting the clinic if you are considering a walk-in/same day appointment.

** Walk-in appointments will be seen if time permits, call Medical Centre prior to coming to the clinic.

First time patients, please fill out the appropriate registration form before visiting the Centre.

Appointments:

  • will only be available in-person at Newnham Campus with your doctor and you must:
    • have no COVID-19 symptoms
    • bring your Seneca OneCard and health card to the appointment

What to Bring: 

Domestic students

Students will need their OneCard and proof of health coverage (Ontario Health Card or out-of-province health card).

If it is your first time visiting the clinic, you will need to fill out and bring the to your scheduled appointment.

Information on domestic student insurance questions and claims is available on the We Speak Student website.

International students

Students will need their OneCard and proof of health insurance. International students must obtain proof of health insurance coverage each semester. To print your proof of health coverage card visit Morcare.

Employees

Employees should bring proof of health coverage (Ontario Health Card) and proof of employment (such as their OneCard).

Medical emergencies

For campus emergencies requiring Police, Fire Department, or Ambulance dial 911.

Notify Campus Security that Emergency Services have been called by dialling 416.764.0911
