Students Experience

Working on a COIL project pushes me to be adaptable and open-minded, essential skills for any professional in today’s interconnected world. Additionally, these projects improve my digital communication and collaboration abilities, preparing me for the reality of a globalized workforce.
Peter García Sjögrim, School of Management and Entrepreneurship
I would definitely be interested in taking another class with a COIL project in the future because it has broaden my perspective on a lot of things. Communicating with people of different culture and managing time with others who are in different time zone has helped in improving my skills. Understanding our cultural differences is a necessity in order to succeed and I think that this has helped me in that.
Hubert Rau, School of Accounting & Financial Services
I loved seeing a different perspective on societal issues that we learnt in our course. Learning not just from professors, but from fellow students can provide deeper perspective
