Credit Transfer Guide

Use the right-hand navigation to find the guide of the opportunity you are interested in applying for.

When planning for a global opportunity, you can use the credit transfer guide as a starting point when thinking about the courses you will take abroad. The credit transfer guide should be used only as a guideline and never a rule.

Courses you choose to take abroad can vary depending on your program of study, the courses you have already completed at Seneca, courses they you choosing to take abroad, and your program requirements at Seneca. Course offerings may also change at our partner institutions from year to year.

A Learning Agreement signed by the academic area (i.e., program co-ordinator, chair, dean, etc.) is required for the outbound mobility application. Learn more about how to complete the Learning Agreement on our Register for an opportunity page.

Grade requirements:

Certificate, diploma and graduate certificate programs — a minimum grade of “C” (60 per cent) is required for a course to be considered for transfer credit for most programs.

Degree programs — a minimum grade of “C+” (65 per cent) is required for a course to be considered for transfer credit for most programs.

A higher minimum grade may be required by certain programs.
