  • Utilizing of software such as Docuboard and Onboarder
  • The industry will come back strong after getting the most hit by COVID; there will be a lot of demand as people miss travelling

  • Curb-side checkin will be more attractive to customers as everything will be done online in advance
  • As a result, they will only have to arrive 15 minutes prior and the transactions will be quicker, to the customers’ delight
  • Less indoor traffic

Tips for Resume Building

  • Become a generalist! Learn as much as possible; the more you know, the better. It will be hard for them to fire you if you have more than one skills that is required
  • Network! Network! Network!

  • Flexibility; ability to pivot from in person to virtual
  • Adequate commitment
  • Can-do attitude
  • Ability to add value beyond what is required

Changes Due to COVID

  • All operations are changed to virtual platforms and there are more platforms on the way
  • Large gatherings moved to small gatherings or one-on-one sessions
  • Enhanced time management since there is no need to commute
  • More online courses offered

Expectations for Zoom interview

  • Utilizing great preparation; research before interview and prepare your answers for common interview questions
  • You’re in control of the situation
  • Do the interview wherever you’re comfortable
  • Employer sees more authentic version of you
  • More chances to connect your experiences to job description
  • Do not dress down. It is still a job interview, so dress to impress (and don’t wear PJ pants!)

Tips to make your resume stand out

  • Proofread! Even the small mistakes will make a difference.
  • Make it easy to read and use a template
  • Tailor it so it targets that specific company, job, and industry
  • Cover letters should be targeted and customized
  • Follow-up is always great, but only once after the interview
  • Thank you email is nice touch
