As the program coordinator for the Hospitality programs, I love to travel and learn about different cultures upon those adventures.  What started as a high school job working in a kitchen has led to over sixteen years’ experience and passion for the hospitality industry. Working in the back of house kitchen and housekeeping, to the front of the house in food and beverage as well as front desk in hotels, allowed me to gain experience to work for the largest hotel management company in Canada. This allowed me to travel and work in the Caribbean renovating and opening new hotels for owners and shareholders. I share these experiences, knowledge and stories with students within the classroom to bring learning to life.
