2026-27 Student Representative: Joy Tolong | Board of Governors | Seneca Students

Joy Tolong is a student in the Honours Bachelor of Design in Interactive Media degree program. She is also a graduate of Seneca’s Interactive Media Design diploma program. Ms. Tolong has been active in the Seneca community as an ambassador in The Service Hub, where she helps students navigate services, answer questions and access supports. She has also served as a peer mentor, worked for the Faculty of Communication, Art & Design and volunteered at Open House. Ms. Tolong is committed to helping her colleagues feel supported and informed and supporting a smooth transition to postsecondary education for new students. She brings experience in event planning and networking to her role and is focused on ensuring that student information and career-related resources are effective and accessible. Ms. Tolong will join Seneca’s Board of Governors on Sept. 1, 2026.
