Join us in this session to learn about your values, interests, skills, and personality, identify potential career areas to explore, explore occupations of interest and plan for the next steps.
        
1:30 to 2:30 p.m. | Managing Mental Health While Job Searching | Register
Join our collaborative virtual workshop with Accessible Learning Services to learn more about getting organized for the job search process and explore tips and strategies for managing your mental health along the way. This online event focuses on self-care while looking for a job. Discover ways to protect yourself against harmful stressors, identify coping strategies, and discover community and organizational resources available to you.

This workshop will help you define the different types of skills, reflect on skills needed in the workplace to identify skills you have developed from experiences and learn about skills required for various career areas.
        
2:25 to 3:15 p.m. | Work-related Regulations and Working in Canada for International Students | Register
Learn all about work regulation and requirements to work off-campus on a study permit, information on the temporary policy in changes to work hours currently in place, learn common expectations, your rights, and available resources at work.

3:20 to 4:10 p.m. | Resumé and Cover Letter Writing | Register
In this workshop, you will learn how to recognize your skills and articulate the link between your skills and the job posting. Join us in this session to identify which resumé style fits you and tailor your resumé to your job.
        
1:30 to 2:20 p.m. | Create an ePortfolio on Google Sites | Register
This workshop, offered by Seneca Sandbox, teaches you how to create a professional ePortfolio using Google Sites. You'll learn about the benefits of ePortfolios, basic design principles, and how to design an accessible site. Additionally, this course covers how to find free images and icons, how to import various types of content, how to set up Google Analytics, and even how to apply a Creative Commons license to your hosted content. 
        
2:25 to 3:15 p.m. | Helix Entrepreneurship | Register
In this online session, you will explore how HELIX, Seneca Polytechnic’s on campus innovation and entrepreneurship incubator, supports Seneca students, from all programs, to explore and develop their innovation mindset. Learn how HELIX's engaging, no cost, extracurricular initiative will provide you the skills to design, launch and scale a sustainable start-up as an entrepreneur or enter the workforce with new skills as an intrapreneur.

9:45 to 10:30 a.m. | Consent @ Seneca: Support Resources on and off Campus | Register
This workshop is designed to empower students with the knowledge of on and off campus supports and resources available to survivors of sexual violence. Participants will learn how to identify sexual violence and understand the range of supports available as well as have an opportunity to engage with the content through scenario-based group learning.

Applied Research creates opportunities for students to work on collaborative research projects with Seneca faculty and industry/community partner. In this session, you will learn about Applied Research, how you can participate and how applied research can help achieve your career goals.
        
1:30 to 2:20 p.m. | Student Support | Register
Student Support department is dedicated to serving the diverse needs of our domestic and international student community. The professional Student Navigators work with student support groups to create a sense of belonging for equity deserving groups. The Student Advisers offer vital academic support from enrollment to graduation, guiding students through program planning and progression and charting goals with students for post-graduation.

10:45 to 11:35 a.m. | Searching for Jobs on the Seneca Works Career Portal |  Register
In this workshop, you will learn about Seneca Works and the importance of becoming familiar with the job board. You will discover how to navigate and search for jobs on the portal to apply for jobs of interest.
        
2:25 to 3:15 p.m. | Pathways to Further Education | Register
In this session you will learn about possible educational pathways after college and get an opportunity to connect with representatives from our Academic Pathways Office to ask your questions.
