A100: Seneca Indigenous Student Bursary
Awards are available for aboriginal students (non-Status, Status, Metis or Inuit) who have completed two terms of study. Eligible students must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, Ontario residents and have demonstrated financial need.
200243: Seneca Community Indigenous Award
Awarded to a full-time Indigenous student who is involved in the Indigenous student community at Seneca. The recipient demonstrates financial need and is recommended by FirstPeoples@Seneca.
200257: Naadmaadwin Perkins+Will/SSF Award
Awarded to an Indigenous student who contributes to advancing Indigenous cultural awareness at Seneca and who demonstrates financial need. The recommendation will be made by FirstPeoples@Seneca.
200269: Scotiabank Indigenous Business & Technology Award
Awarded to students who identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Open to students in the following areas:
The recipients will be recommended by FirstPeoples@Seneca.
200302: Manulife Bursary for Indigenous Students
This bursary will be awarded to students enrolled at Seneca who demonstrate financial need and identify as Indigenous. The recipients will be recommended by FirstPeoples@Seneca.
200321: UWCNY-Louise Slemin Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time domestic student who identifies as First Nations, Métis or Inuit. The recipient demonstrates exceptional leadership at Seneca or in the broader community. Preference is given to a student who is doing work related to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) and special consideration will be given to the area of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW). The recipient will be nominated by First Peoples@Seneca. This award honours Louise Slemin, a committed volunteer and member of the University Women’s Club of North York.
