Welcoming Exchange students for Fall 2022 | Global Engagement

Students from six different countries arrived at Seneca to complete semester exchange programs

On September 2, Global Learning and Engagement held a welcome orientation for students arriving from the following institutions:

• Artevelde University of Applied Sciences (Belgium)
• Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo (Ecuador)
• Windesheim University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands)
• Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (Germany)
• Nagoya University of Foreign Studies (Japan)
• Robert Gordon University (United Kingdom)

These students will immerse themselves into Canadian culture and the Seneca community as they complete a semester-worth of credits towards their programs. 

During the orientation, a panel was held by local Seneca students who shared their tips on the best local food, shops, and destinations. Other activities included a networking session and campus tour. 

Through these strong academic partnerships, the Global Learning and Engagement office plans to see Seneca students travel abroad to these partner institutions for their own exchange programs in the future.
