Humans and domesticated animals were depicted in a stylized way with specific details to indicate individual and intersectional ways of being and interacting in the world. Attention was paid to specific forms of dress, hair style, accessories and mobility aids to transcend essentializing and categorizing people. Scenarios of human interactions were gathered from actual classroom photos, archives or newsletters.
