Plants and rocks that are Indigenous to the geographic region upon which Seneca is built on are prominent visuals in the mural.
Plants are shown in abundance to show the enrichment they bring and the growth they inspire. Displaying the variety of plants in the region was important to depict how plants also are reciprocal in their relationship to the earth. For example: berries sustain, medicine plants heal and trees provide shelter.
Rocks contain the history of the land the foundation upon which the structures of the earth, including Seneca, are held up.
