    The safety and well-being of children must take precedence when deciding whether one should report suspicions regarding to child abuse and neglect. It is an offence to NOT report under the CYFSA, 2017 for those with professional or official duties working with children. Thus, if you have reasonable grounds to suspect that a child is, or may be, experiencing child maltreatment it must be reported.
