Caroline Cheng is a community builder, entrepreneur, and student leader. She is the Founder and President of the Seneca Taiwanese Student Association, Student Ambassador for the International Student Support Group, and Lead Mentor in Seneca’s Peer Mentoring Program.
Through her leadership, Caroline has built one of the largest Taiwanese student communities in Canada. She has connected Seneca Polytechnic with Taiwanese student associations at leading Canadian universities, including University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, Queen's University, McGill University, McMaster University, Concordia University, York University, and University of Ottawa.
By building these relationships, she helped establish a collaborative alliance among Taiwanese student communities across Eastern Canada and demonstrated that a polytechnic institution like Seneca can stand alongside some of Canada’s most prestigious universities as an equal partner in community building, leadership, and cultural engagement.
Caroline has also developed partnerships with business, government, and non-profit organizations, including the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Canada (TECO), to create opportunities for students in mentorship, networking, cultural exchange, and career development.
Her work focuses on entrepreneurship, community building, leadership development, and fostering a strong sense of belonging among students from diverse backgrounds.
