Seneca students with big dreams in engineering now have an exciting new opportunity! Thanks to a new pathway with Queen's University, graduates of Seneca’s Civil Engineering Technology and Chemical Engineering Technology programs can now jump straight into the third year of Queen’s engineering degree programs through the Smith Engineering Bridge pathway.

This pathway is designed to help advanced diploma graduates fast-track their way to a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Engineering. Students like Amirreza Shavakh, a Seneca grad in the program, are already feeling the benefits. "This pathway gives me the hands-on experience I need and the connections that will help me land an internship,” says Amirreza, who’s excited about what’s next in his journey towards becoming a professional engineer.

The best part? This pathway saves students time. Instead of starting from scratch with a full four-year degree, students can transfer into the third year of civil, mining, mechanical, or chemical engineering at Queen's, getting them closer to their engineering career faster.

If you're thinking about leveling up your engineering career, this could be the perfect route for you! Read about Amirreza’s journey to see how Seneca is helping students enhance their credentials through pathways to top partner institutions.
