Before the start of classes

• Choose a Liberal Studies Option (LSO)
  

  Students in Semester 1 need to enroll in a Liberal Studies Option. Please visit English and Liberal Studies website for more information.

• OneCard
  

  The  is the official Seneca College identification card. It is required for classroom and clinical placements. Be sure to have a professional appearance when you have your picture taken. This is the picture that you will wear in clinical practice.

• Transfer Credits
  Courses completed at the university level prior to enrolling in the BScN program will be considered for credit transfer. Please visit our Credit Transfer site for more information. The deadline to submit Transfer Credit Requests for Winter term is December 1.

• Textbooks
  Textbooks can be ordered through the online bookstore.

• Uniforms
  

  All students in the Collaborative BScN program are required to wear a standard navy blue uniform. Uniforms are available to order through the online bookstore or can be purchased at any uniform store. They will be required for any in-person labs as well as for clinical.

Clinical Preparedness Permit

• A Clinical Preparedness Permit (CPP) ensures that students have met certain requirement prior to entering their clinical placements in Semester 2. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary requirements have been met. The CPP includes medical and non-medical components and certification requirements. These are mandatory requirements for all practicum courses in the program. Please review the CPP Guideline.
• You do not need to start completing your CPP until further information is provided during semester 1.
