Carpool Program | Transportation | Seneca Students

We are excited to relaunch our carpool program this summer. It is the perfect solution for those looking to save money, reduce their carbon footprint, and make their daily commute more enjoyable. With rising fuel prices and commute times, our carpool program will offer a convenient and eco-friendly alternative to driving alone. We have implemented strict safety measures to ensure the well-being of all participants, making it a secure and reliable option for your commute.

To qualify for the Carpool Program, at least two and at most four community members (Staff or Students) must come together to form a carpool.  

Economical 

Carpool is becoming an increasingly popular way to save money. By sharing a ride, members of the Seneca community can significantly reduce their transportation costs.

Environmentally friendly

Carpool helps reduce carbon emissions, which is a significant contributor to climate change. Sharing a ride with others means fewer cars are on the road, resulting in less fuel consumption and fewer greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This will help combat air pollution and reduce Seneca’s Scope 3 emissions.

Social 

Carpool promotes social interaction and community building. When people share rides, they can get to know each other, share stories and experiences, and build relationships. This not only makes the commute more enjoyable, but it also creates a sense of belonging and connectedness
