As of Nov. 8, 2024, international students must study at the DLI named on their study permit. If you wish to change DLI you must apply and receive approval for a new study permit using the LOA and PAL of the new institution. If you are inside of Canada, you will submit this application as a study permit extension. This policy also applies to international students enrolled in Seneca's ASU or LAT programs who will transfer into a partner institution.
We strongly advise students changing DLI to apply early for their new permit - before leaving the original institution. The new study permit must be approved before you may begin classes at the new DLI unless:
