COVID-19 Updates

This is the official Seneca source of information on the COVID-19 pandemic. You can also follow Seneca's official social media feeds for updates.

Here is the latest information:

• May 1, 2023, the last of our pandemic-specific health and safety restrictions on campus will be removed. Masks will no longer be required on campus and students and employees will not need to tap or scan their OneCard to enter campuses.
• Children aged five and over are eligible to receive the bivalent COVID-19 booster if they have completed their primary COVID-19 vaccine series and it has been six months since their last dose. Appointments can be scheduled through the COVID-19 vaccination portal, by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre and participating pharmacies.
• Individuals aged 12 and over are eligible to receive the bivalent COVID-19 booster if they have completed their primary COVID-19 vaccine series. Appointments can be scheduled through the COVID-19 vaccination portal, by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre and participating pharmacies.
• Individuals aged 18 and over are eligible to receive the bivalent COVID-19 booster if they have completed their primary COVID-19 vaccine series. Appointments can be scheduled through the COVID-19 vaccination portal, by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre and participating pharmacies.
• Children aged five to 11 are eligible to schedule appointments for the paediatric COVID-19 booster dose. Appointments can be scheduled through the COVID-19 vaccination portal, by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre and at participating pharmacies.
• Children aged six months to under five years are eligible for the paediatric COVID-19 vaccine. Immunocompromised youth aged 12 to 17, who received their first booster dose at least six months ago, are also be eligible to schedule their second booster dose. Appointments can be scheduled through the COVID-19 vaccination portal and the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre, directly through public health units, participating primary care providers and pediatricians and participating pharmacies.
