Six students from the Honours Bachelor of Crime and Intelligence Analysis (CIA) degree program travelled with faculty member Dr. Glenn Barenthin this past February to participate in a Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) challenge held by Mount St. Mary’s University in Maryland, USA.

The Robert B. Fram “CSI Challenge” is an annual prestigious event that colleges and universities from across North America attend to compete for prizes in a crime scene challenge organized by law enforcement agencies.

This was Seneca’s first year in attendance, and the two Seneca teams placed sixth and seventh out of 18 teams. Student participation in this event was sponsored by the Seneca Alumni Affinity Fund and the Faculty of Applied Arts and Health Sciences (FAAHS).
