For the first time in 70 years, the world will get to watch the Coronation of a British monarch. And while the majority of us will be taking in the action from our televisions, live streams, radios and mobile devices, 2,300 individuals will be in person at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6 to witness the historic event, including Seneca Business student, Jay Patel.

Mr. Patel was invited as a Youth Ambassador of the Prince’s Trust Canada, a global charity founded by His Majesty King Charles III (formerly His Highness The Prince of Wales). When Mr. Patel moved from India to Canada he enrolled in the Prince’s Trust Canada’s Discover program, which allowed him to gain skills that helped him find a job.

Since then, he has stayed connected with the program and is honoured that he was selected to go to London. Find out what Mr. Patel has to say about this opportunity. Read the full story in The Globe and Mail.
