We are #Senecaproud of Myles Cook, a student from Seneca’s Crime & Intelligence Analysis (CIA) program who recently accepted a full-time position at CIBC Mellon as an anti-money laundering analyst.

Mr. Cook began his work term with CIBC Mellon in April 2022.

“I was excited to get real-world, hands-on experience in the anti-money laundering industry,” he says.  After completing his work-integrated learning (WIL) experience, Mr. Cook accepted a part-time position with CIBC Mellon where he continued to conduct and assess clients. “During my work term I was able to apply firsthand the different aspects of anti-money laundering which I learned through the CIA program,” says Mr. Cook.

Congratulations Myles on your permanent role with CIBC Mellon!

Through WIL experiences, students can apply classroom knowledge in a practical setting.  Learn more about WIL here.
