On Tuesday, June 27, Program Advisory Committee (PAC) members affiliated with the School of Early Childhood Education (ECE) were invited to explore the Newnham Seneca ECE Lab Studios.

Committee members had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the lab experiences while engaging in lively dialogues about pedagogy with faculty. The lab provides a valuable child’s-eye view for adults. “We amplified specific areas of a typical ECE classroom and created a giant immersive play space," said Tanya Andrejas, Manager, ECE Lab School. “It has become a community hub for us and mentors we work with in the industry.”

It was an informative and inspiring morning which discussed the beauty and complexity of the art and science of play, relationship and community.
