GLE awarded top prize by CICan’s 2023 Innovation Fund | MyNews | Seneca Students

Congratulations to Global Learning and Engagement (GLE) who have been awarded $40,000 from CICan’s Innovation Fund 2023. This is the maximum funding for a single institution application.

GLE will use the funding to ensure their pre-departure materials support students of all backgrounds and abilities throughout their global learning abroad journey. Centered on three pillars: the UN's sustainable development goals, best practices in Indigenous education and universal design for learning, this project will ensure student’s personal growth and skill acquisition throughout each stage of their global learning journey.

To date, GLE has secured $590,000 from the Global Skills Opportunity program, which is an integral component of the Government of Canada’s International Education Strategy.
