Srishti Vashist, a student in the Human Resources Management (HRM) graduate certificate program, has earned the third-place title in the Microsoft Office Specialist Canadian National Championship.

This achievement marks Seneca’s second consecutive placement in the competition within the past two years. Ms. Vashist’s performance in the PowerPoint Associate category secured her spot among the top nine placements across three categories, completing the exam with 22 minutes to spare.

Deborah Kim, another HRM student, also participated in the competition. Her outstanding performance led her to be selected as part of the finalist group, which included nearly 45 participants from across Canada.

The Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate program at Seneca is generously supported by the Seneca Student Federation and provides students with valuable opportunities to enhance their digital literacy and excel in today’s competitive job market.
