Seneca, in partnership with SSF, is hosting a Style & Clothing Exchange event on Thursday, August 8 in The Kickback at Markham Campus.

How it works

Drop off your cleaned clothes and accessories that are in good condition at the Kickback in exchange for a ticket per item. When the swap starts, you can exchange the tickets for other items of your choice. Whatever items don't get traded will be dropped at our clothes donation bins on campus.

Get your ticket(s)

On August 7 from noon to 2 p.m., and on August 8 from 11 a.m. to noon, drop off your gently used clothes and accessories to SSF’s office. For each item you donate, you will receive a ticket. Then, from noon to 2:30 p.m. on August 8, join us at the Kickback to exchange your tickets for new-to-you items from the swap collection.

In addition, Baro Vintage, a student-owned company, will offer a selection of its pre-loved items for sale as part of the event.

This event is a great way to update your wardrobe for free and avoid buying new clothes, which is good for your pocket and the environment. The fashion industry is among the top 10 polluting industries worldwide, so engaging in activities that encourages reusing gently used items contributes to a more sustainable future.
