It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Edward Perry, professor in the School of Hospitality & Tourism, on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Edward had been teaching at Seneca for the past two years and will be remembered for his positivity, personable approach and his warm smile.

Edward’s expertise in the hotel industry established him as a leader among students and colleagues. He was very committed to teaching, sharing his experiences and stories, which endeared him to his students.

We offer our deepest condolences to Edward’s family, friends and colleagues.

Viewing, evening service and eulogies will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel in Toronto. Funeral service will be held in the Rosar-Morrison Chapel on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 11 a.m., followed by burial at St. James Cemetery.

If you feel that you need any support during this time, please contact the Counselling Services or contact Good2Talk online or by phone at 1.866.925.5454.
