The CAAT-A bargaining team and College Employer Council (CEC) have mutually agreed to non-binding mediation to address outstanding items in the bargaining for a new academic collective agreement.

Mediation will take place between Friday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 8 and the arbitrator, William Kaplan, will mediate on all outstanding matters.

Before and during mediation, the parties have agreed that neither will ask for a no-board report or escalate job action.

We remain hopeful an agreement will be reached.

As always, we will keep you informed.
