As technology is increasingly used in agriculture, it’s expected that the combined field will grow. And an agri-tech networking and employment mixer is being held at Newnham Campus for people to learn more about this area.
The in-person, free event on Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. will feature a panel discussion with industry professionals, representatives from a number of companies and plenty of time to network. It’s being presented by Applied Research, STEM Minds, an educational enterprise based in Aurora, about 50 kilometres north of Toronto, and Boreal Farms, an ag-tech solutions company based in King City, about 50 kilometres northwest of Toronto.
The event will be held in Building K (CITE), HELIX, Room K2000 and space is limited. For more information and to register, please visit the STEM Minds link.
