November 13 to 19 each year marks Transgender Awareness Week, a time to promote trans visibility, celebrate the lives of trans people while highlighting the challenges the trans communities continue to face.
Seneca Polytechnic is committed to challenging the marginalization and violence that transgender, non-binary, Two-Spirit and gender diverse communities experience.
We invite you to join us in person for this year's Transgender Awareness Week activities at Seneca, starting with the opening event on Wednesday, Nov. 13 featuring The Epic Choir, Toronto’s first collective for trans, non-binary, Two-Spirit and gender-queer singers:
