For the 14th year, Seneca’s annual Green Citizen Symposium — Thrive and Transform: A Resilient Journey, sponsored by TD Insurance, took place virtually from Tuesday, Nov. 5 to Thursday, Nov. 7.

More than 1,900 students, employees and community members participated in the symposium, engaging in meaningful discussions about sustainability. Over the three-day event, keynotes and workshops covered topics such as AI, sustainable finance, sustainable brands, conservation work in partnership with communities, the role of the arts in sustainability, Indigenous teachings and much more.

If you missed it, you can still access the recordings on the Sustainable Seneca space.

On Tuesday, Nov. 12, Seneca hosted a sustainability networking event, sponsored by Seneca Alumni and TD Insurance, in partnership with Seneca Works. This event provided a valuable opportunity for TD employees, Seneca faculty, students and community members to connect.

To ensure students were well-prepared and could make the most of the event, Seneca Works offered preparatory workshops beforehand.
