The story of a very special three days | MyNews | Seneca Students

Our team was thrilled to celebrate our December 2024 graduates at Winter Convocation this past weekend as Seneca took over Meridian Hall in downtown Toronto. The event was a testament to the dedication of our graduates, as well as a celebration of the entire Seneca community.

Here are a few key numbers that tell the story of a very special weekend:  

• More than 4,300 new graduates crossed the Meridian Hall stage over three days
• Over 300 Seneca employees ensured the event ran smoothly and on-time
• 237 platform party members took the stage to celebrate with students
• More than 9,400 viewers from 111 countries tuned into our convocation live stream over the weekend  

Graduates were celebrated for their hard work and perseverance, with many receiving special recognition for their academic excellence and contributions to the Seneca community.
