Graduate named New Public Relations Professional of the Year | MyNews | Seneca Students

Olamipo Ogunnote, a recent graduate of the Public Relations – Corporate Communications program, has been recognized as an emerging leader in his field. 

Mr. Ogunnote was named New Public Relations Professional of the Year by the Canadian Public Relations Society Toronto. The award honours people who have made significant achievements in the industry in five years or less. 

The award was presented on May 1 at the 2026 ACE Awards Gala in Toronto, an annual event celebrating excellence in communications and public relations. 

Mr. Ogunnote also received a Silver award for Student Public Relations Communications Plan of the Year.
