The Hon. Jill Dunlop, Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities (MPP, Simcoe North), and the Hon. Stephen Lecce, Minister of Education (MPP, King- Vaughan), visited King Campus to announce the launch of Seneca’s new stand-alone Honours Bachelor of Science – Nursing degree program today.

The ministers toured labs and classrooms with President David Agnew and spoke with second-year nursing students in the Patient Care Simulation Lab.

This was Minister Dunlop’s first visit to King Campus and Minister Lecce’s fifth.

Seneca’s Honours Bachelor of Science – Nursing degree program will start in Sept. 2022. The program’s curriculum will provide a diverse and global perspective to prepare students to be one of the health-care leaders of tomorrow. The degree also offers an internal pathway for graduates of Seneca’s Practical Nursing diploma program to transfer directly into the third year of the curriculum.
