There are different financial aid opportunities available for Black students at Seneca, including:

  • Black Seneca Student Award — awarded to students who identify as Black, have a minimum GPA of 2.0. and demonstrate financial need
  • Black Seneca Student Scholarship — awarded to students who identify as Black and demonstrate academic excellence and involvement in extracurricular activities
  • Claire Shaver Award — awarded to students who identify as Black, First Nations, Métis or Inuit and enrolled in one of the following schools or programs: School of Early Childhood Education, School of Community Services, Law Clerk, Paralegal, Behavioural Sciences, Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology
  • Hendricks Family Empowering Black Students Bursary — awarded to a full-time student who identifies as Black, who has overcome obstacles in pursuit of their postsecondary education and demonstrates financial needs
  • Seneca & SSF Equity Bursary — awarded to students who demonstrate financial need
