Call for student applied research applications | MyNews | Seneca Students

Seneca Innovation is celebrating applied research and entrepreneurship activities at Seneca during the Innovation Showcase on Tuesday, May 3. The showcase will kick off with a virtual Innovation Showcase Exhibition Hall from Tuesday, April 26, to May 3.

The exhibition hall is a great way for students to showcase their hard work to peers, faculty, along with industry and community partners. This is open to any funded applied research projects, HELIX ventures and all Seneca students completing capstone research projects in collaboration with an external industry or community partner organization.

Students can submit an electronic poster on MP4 video to display at the exhibition.

The submission deadline is 5 p.m. on Monday, April 18. Interested student groups can register by submitting the online form.

Projects at the Innovation Showcase Exhibition Hall will be eligible for awards based on review by a judging panel and results from an online voting platform to select a People's Choice Award. The first place of each will receive a cash prize and networking opportunity. Awards announcement will be held live on the day of the Innovation Showcase event on May 3.
