Students and faculty from Seneca’s Event Management – Creative Design graduate certificate program helped design the décor for the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research’s (CANFAR) annual fundraising event, Bloor Street Entertains, which took place on Wednesday, Nov. 30.

From concept design to floor plans, production schedules to rental order, students engaged in the entire planning process related to the venues they were assigned. They utilized their creative skills on event day to design unique dining experiences at six downtown Toronto venues, including Harry Rosen, Brooks Brothers, Rimowa, MaxMara, the Gardiner Museum and the Park Hyatt Hotel.

Check out students’ creative designs this year that helped contribute to $1.3 million raised this year for HIV research.
